Wheelock Business Hub

Wheelock Business Hub based in Middlewich, Cheshire provides hot desking, meeting room facilities as well as long term rental offices for businesses. The space is friendly and relaxed and allows small businesses to use the facilities as an alternative to working from home and be able to use the space for teams to come together. They also have a meeting room to hire which is a great space to hold training events, networking sessions or workshops for up to 10 people.

Why did you want to take part in the Digital Cheshire Programme?

Because we are only a small team at Wheelock Business Hub it means I am responsible for a lot of the digital marketing. Even though it is something I am familiar with Digital Marketing is an ever-changing topic, so we needed to make sure we are up to date with our knowledge to help communicate digitally the offering and benefits of the Hub.

How did the Digital Cheshire Programme benefit your business?

As a new business we wanted to access the support to help us learn more about Digital Marketing and ultimately grow the business and its reach. The Masterclass has helped improve my knowledge and has reduced the need to outsource parts of my marketing which could have been costly. I have also been connected to other potential funding opportunities within the local area which could be beneficial for the business as we look to grow.

Since attending the Digital Cheshire Programme have you made any changes?

Yes, lots. I took 2 days to process all the information and not let myself get overwhelmed, but after that I made a plan and have got to work making improvements to my website and directing my marketing to a more specific group, from the advice given on the day.

I have started to use tools such as Yoast to improve Search Engine Optimisation and will be looking at Linked In to grow my audience and share content.

Would you recommend the Digital Cheshire programme?

Without a doubt! I have friends and acquaintances from other regions who wanted to attend!
