Our expert consultants work nationally to provide professional development to teachers on how to teach English, and to leaders on how to lead English. We have developed a wealth of award-winning resources, Ready Steady Literacy, that address a school’s every Literacy need.

Why is Digital Cheshire important to your business i.e. marketing, social media, website, SEO, online CRM’s:
Our team consists of former primary teachers, subject leaders, deputies and headteachers. These are roles that have never been exposed to crucial marketing skills such as SEO, building a CRM and running successful social media campaigns. For us, Digital Cheshire has allowed us to learn these important business skills so that we can more effectively raise awareness of the resources and services we have to support schools.

Our Marketing and Social Media Executive, Olivia Monks, has spent the last 6 years within the primary classroom. The Digital Cheshire courses she’s been on this year have been an invaluable source of knowledge to upskill Olivia so that she can expertly and effectively share our educational messages to schools far and wide.

What you then learnt during your time with Digital Cheshire:

Although Olivia already had some experience of effective content marketing, she had little experience of several of the skills that Digital Cheshire has since taught her. Most recently, she attended an Artificial Intelligence masterclass. Although the use of AI could never replace the knowledge and deep understanding that our Consultant and Product Team have, following her time with Digital Cheshire, Olivia delivered an effective AI workshop for the whole team at Literacy Counts. During this workshop, Olivia informed the team of the main considerations to take when using AI at Literacy Counts. She then followed up with interactive tasks where the team could explore how AI can take on 3 different roles to support their daily tasks.

3. Expert Colleague

Although Literacy Counts’ services and resources are beyond the skills of AI, this new understanding of AI shall help the team reduce some of their workload and improve productivity. Thank you, Digital Cheshire, for providing us with this opportunity.

Since attending the masterclasses what are you doing differently?

Lots of things! Particularly within our Engagement Department. Thanks to the skills Olivia has learnt during the Digital Cheshire masterclasses, we now have a more effective and informed strategy across the entirety of our marketing. Now that our services and resources are being seen by more schools and leaders, we can more effectively live out our company purpose: To Improve Outcomes in Reading and Writing.
