Supporting residents across Cheshire, Halton and Warrington with Digital Inclusion Drop In Events
As digital demands increase and vital services are transitioning to online, Digital Cheshire are pleased to announce the launch of our digital inclusion project across Cheshire, Halton and Warrington.
This project will deliver a calendar of free to access events throughout 2025, focusing on digital usage, digital skills, and accessing the internet safely. We will also be supporting residents with many other important digital needs, such as accessing healthcare and public services online, digital voice, and accessing learning platforms. Where possible, we will be partnering with the charity, public and private sectors to encourage collaboration and partnership, working in an effort to give local residents the best possible experience. By establishing relationships with the wider inclusion network across the sub-region, we will help signpost you to the best possible support available to fulfil your digital needs.
Whilst Digital Cheshire continues to work with Government, broadband suppliers and communities to increase the availability of gigabit broadband, it was recognised that support in towns across the region is required to bolster current efforts to reduce the risk of people becoming digitally excluded and building on the work to date by other organisations.
Digital Cheshire have partnered with Thrive, the Cheshire based Marketing Agency, to support the delivery of Digital drop-in and educational events launching in April. Individuals who are interested in taking part or organisations looking to partner and work alongside our initiative can make contact with Digital Cheshire directly.
Our aim is to provide communities with access to better broadband and support them with digital knowledge, allowing you to gain confidence and showcase to you the opportunities digital offers us all.
More information can be found here about Digital Inclusion and our events will be launching from April.
