Digital Cheshire Champions Get Online Week Across Cheshire and Warrington
Digital Cheshire proudly joined the national Get Online Week campaign last week. Helping residents across the county build confidence and skills in using digital technology. As part of its mission to improve connectivity and digital inclusion, Digital Cheshire hosted a series of engaging events and activities aimed at supporting people, who are at risk of becoming digitally excluded or simply looking to improve their online skills.
We visited the following locations across the region:
- Upton – Halton
- Winsford – Cheshire West
- Fearnhead – Warrington – in partnership with Living Well Warrington
- Frodsham – Cheshire West – in partnership with Bee Friends
- Congleton – Cheshire East – in partnership with Springboard
- Crewe – Cheshire East
From interactive drop-in sessions to hands-on digital workshops, our Get Online Week events united local partners, community groups, and digital champions to deliver meaningful support across the region. Residents were guided through essential digital skills, from accessing online services and staying safe online to exploring new tools and apps.
The initiative reached 120 individuals from diverse age groups and communities, covering topics such as scam awareness, using the NHS App, and much more.
We would like to thank residents who attended and organisations who assisted in the promotion and delivery of a successful week. To view our upcoming events please visit our events page.
